DESCRIPTION:The 13th Annual 5KRun/5KWalk 4 Family and Friends with Cancer has gone virtual! This year\, participants have the option to sign up for a Virtual 5K Run or Virtual 5K Walk. When registering\, choose the date (October 1 thru October 3)\, the time\, and location where you will run or walk. You can complete your distance on a trail\, road\, sidewalk\, treadmill\, around your backyard – or even around your living room! For those running a 5K\, you can email your time to the event organizers at walk4ff@gmail.com and they will post it – it’s the honor system. As in past years\, funds raised from this event will benefit two non-profit organizations: The Abramson Cancer Center at the University of Pennsylvania and the JFCS Financial Assistance for Cancer Patients Program\, which provides financial assistance for local families affected by cancer.
